Distillery Heaven

In the centre of Nijmegen, our malt beverages are sustainably distilled from beer in the cellars of the Commanderie van St. Jan.

In order not to have to throw anything away, we collect the residual beer our brewery, and then distil from it in the traditional way a liquor of no less than 75% alcohol. The beers we use for this purpose would otherwise be thrown away because they are expired, contain production defects or for some other reason can no longer be sold.

This distillate is the main ingredient in our drinks and gives a unique malty character.

Contemporary, sustainable
and accessible

We stay true to the traditional production process, despite using residual streams for our production. We simply distil and age our drinks as we should. It takes time, but it's worth it.

We work out of love for our craft and aim to introduce the Netherlands to home-grown beer brandies, gin, genever and liqueurs. Because making drinks based on beer is actually quite logical, and very tasty. We'd love to tell you how we do it.
