Two types of caramel malt give the beer its round caramel flavour. Roasted malt gives the distinctive roasted aromas of this original German dark beer.
Hops are balanced with the malt flavours but do not play a leading role. Top-fermenting so more aromatic than the big bok beer brands. Also less sweet than some big brands.
